Praise The Lord for a great Ordination Service. We are so thankful for to have our father come for this special event and to be sent out by Temple Baptist Church under the leadership of our pastor, Clarence Sexton.
We had a wonderful time of fellowship with the Del Rio Family in Fernandina Beach, FL. Pastor Del Rio and I had the privilege to sing a duet for the morning meeting which was a blessing. We praise the Lord for the encouragement it is to forge friendships with young families our age who are in the service our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
We had a wonderful time with our cousins, Tim and Rebecca Powell. It has been such a blessing for us to have a place to stay almost everywhere as we have traveled across the USA. We were eager to catch up with Tim and Rebecca since we had not seen them in several years.
We had a wonderful time in Burkina Faso with the Shumaker Family. Our survey trip was helpful in determining the conditions a living and finding out what we can use on the field that we will not need to ship from the United States. In the left photo Julie and I were eating a traditional African meal. In the bottom left photo I am preaching in an open air meeting. There are more photos in the Pictures page.
While in France, we had the privilege to renew fellowship with our friends Pierre-Emmanuel and Suzanne Kasprzak. They also invited us to present our ministry in Burkina Faso before their church which was our first presentation in French. This was Julie's first time in France, so we took the time to visit Paris and Versailles.
During the latest Missions Conference, the Lord gave us the opportunity to share our testimony, calling and ministry on KNVBC Revival Radio. KNVBC is a ministry of North Valley Baptist Church in Santa Clara, California with Pastor Jack Trieber.
We had a wonderful time of fellowship with the members of the church and were encouraged by the many prayer friends God allowed us to make.
During our first Missions Conference for the Fall, it was so encouraging to meet young men who desire to serve the Lord and who are interested in the french language. May our generation live by faith so that the next generation have something to desire.
We have celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary and Praise The Lord for His past leading and provision in our lives. We took the time to reflect on the past year and share together what goals we would love to reach for the following year of marriage. It is exciting to be married and to witness God's hand as we draw closer to Him and to each other.
We are in Texas for two and a half months of meeting and are staying with Uncle Dan and Aunt Anne-Marie Knickerbocker during that time. It is refreshing to have a place that we can go back to for the summer months. We also renewed fellowship with Josh and Heather Knickerbocker and are enjoying our time with them.
