The New Testament Church must:

• Earnestly contend for the faith (3)
  
• Remember the words of the Apostles (17)
  
• Build up yourself in your most holy faith (20)
  
• Pray in the holy ghost (20)
  
• Keep yourself in the love of God (21)
  
• Look for the mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (21)
  
• Have compassion (22)
  
• Make a difference (22)
  
• Save with fear (23)
  
• Pull them out of the fire (23)
  
• Hate the garments spotted by the flesh (23)
